Aaron is the youngest in the team at only 14 years and has been paddling for just over 4years. He is out on theAaron the kayak kid water most nights and enjoys all the different types of paddling. At the age of 11 he was promoted to division 1/prem in the C2 slalom with his brother, Deano and in the following year they went on to paddle for England. He gained his BCU 4 star at the age of 11 and looked as if he was born in a boat. In the last year he has been promoted to division 1 in k1 slalom, played for Viking kayak club’s adult canoe polo team, and spent the whole of his summer holiday teaching other children and adults to paddle. In December this year he was presented with Bedford’s sports’ rising star award.
So Aaron has mastered slalom, polo, and white water play boating. Now the challenge of the big 5 in marathon boats and sea kayaks too has to be his next ambition. Unlike his brother Aaron was up for this challenge right from day 1 the only question was would his parents let him do it.
